Course Description: AP United States History conforms to College Board topics and is designed for student mastery of the College Board national exam given in May. The course explores the American history from the colonial era to the present.

"Essential Documents" for students including the course syllabus and academic calendar can be found in the tag located at the bottom of this page. All course notes are available in the subfolder tabs below. Notes are organized by unit.
 
Parents and students new to advanced placement courses, please take a moment to read the "Suggestions for Reading in AP US History" document found in the "Essentail Documents for APUSH" subfolder below. This document provides some helpful suggestions for success in this very difficult class.
 
Remember, the APUSH mock exam is at 8:00 am Saturday, April 30th in the LHS Commons. 
 
The national exam for AP United States History is Friday, May 6, 2011  at 8:00 am, most likely at LHS.
